FAQ
Questions We Hear
Will artificial rockwork look natural?
Yes. Realistic rockwork is one of our specialties. With hand-sculpted textures, carefully chosen colors and close attention to how real stone forms, our features blend into their surroundings.
How long does artificial rockwork last?
Well-built, well-kept rockwork can last for decades. How long depends on the structure, materials, setting and care. Many older features can be refreshed or restored instead of replaced.
Can you repair existing rockwork?
Yes. Restoration is a big part of what we do. We repair, repaint, refinish and renovate artificial rock, waterfalls, grottos and waterslides, whoever built them.
Can you make old artificial rock look more realistic?
Yes. Many older installations have unnatural colors, repetitive textures or faded finishes. Our hand-finishing can change how they look dramatically.
Do you work with architects and custom home builders?
Yes. We work alongside architects, designers, contractors and homeowners to bring custom rockwork into larger projects.
Where do you work?
We're based in Southern California and work throughout California and Utah, including San Diego County, Orange County and the Salt Lake City and Provo areas. Contact us about your location.
Can you renovate an existing waterfall or waterslide?
Yes. We look at the feature and recommend whether it needs repairs, refinishing, repainting or a bigger renovation.
How much does custom rockwork cost?
Price depends on size, complexity, access, structure, materials and the level of artistic detail. Send us photos or plans and we'll talk through the possibilities.
